Had the chance to explore a new Restaurant today. The news of this new cool place for everything Roasted have been buzzing for weeks. So, i decided to give it a try during my lunch time. Went there at about 1 pm and astonishingly it was not packed to the brim (which is good). The ambient was great and the colour scheme was up to date. The layout however is something that can be worked on. But the most important thing is that the food served is HALAL!
The Restaurant is supposed to be famous for their Roasted Duck, Chicken and their Duck Rice. So, for the sake of food testing, i ordered a half duck which was segregated into Roasted Duck and Golden Crispy Duck.
It was awesomely delicious. I haven't ate duck for ages and i kindda forgot how it tasted. But this one was great, especially the Roasted Duck. The meat is juicy and tender. The Crispy Duck however is a bit salty. But i can have no further complaints.
Another thing that i ordered was the Roasted BBQ Beef. This was good too. Although it's lacking a bit in the spice department. Dip it in their homemade sauce and you will get a perfect combination that will make you dip more. Hehehehe...
And then, the last menu i decided to try in this restaurant is the vege. Forgive me as i could not remember the name of this dish nor the vege. But it tasted so much like spinach but crunchier. This too was awesome.
All in all, i had a great lunch at Roast Kitchen, TTDI. I wish my lunch time was longer so that i can try more dishes. I am sure coming back for more.
